Amarinth delivers 18m-long pumps for model spanking new Indian FPSO

Amarinth has completed a US$1.5 million order from Armada Madura for six API 610 VS4 vertical pumps for a brand new FPSO being constructed for India’s Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC).

เกจวัดแรงดันpsi of the six API 610 VS4 pumps are pour level depressant pumps which are 18m in size and the opposite four are methanol raise pumps that are 10m long.
All of the pumps have PT100 temperature sensors which have been designed and constructed along the size of the pumps to monitor the temperature of each bearing individually.
The 18m long pumps incorporate a supporting system of brackets that Amarinth has designed which attaches each pump to its tank during set up ensuring that as the pump is lowered into the tank it remains perfectly aligned, decreasing vibration and put on throughout operation.
Once assembled, the pumps have been independently witness examined and licensed by DNV at Amarinth’s facility in Rendlesham, UK. The pumps had been then disassembled into 3m segments and shipped to Singapore the place the FPSO (floating manufacturing storage and offloading unit) is being constructed.
The pump delivery and set up needed to align with the FPSO construct schedule. Because of the length of the pumps, they had to be put in into the vessel’s tanks via the deck earlier than one other deck above the pumps might be constructed. The first phase was accomplished efficiently over the Christmas period with Amarinth’s Engineering Commissioning team supporting the customer with the installation and commissioning.
The FPSO shall be positioned within the KG-DWN 98/2 subject, roughly 22 km off the east coast of Kakinada, India. The vessel is designed to provide up to ninety 000 barrels of oil per day (BOPD) and have a 1.3-million-barrel storage facility. It might be geared up to deal with the monsoon situations prevalent at the subject.
