Knife rampage: Man terrorises shoppers, vandalises cars outside mall after shedding job

A man wielding knives went on a rampage close to a busy buying centre in Nonthaburi, Thailand, allegedly due to stress from being unemployed. Officers from the Bang Bua Thong Police Station were alerted to the frenzied incident at round 8pm yesterday, which noticed the man brandishing sharp weapons and attacking vehicles amongst close by pedestrians.
At the scene, officers found a fifty one year old man, Chaiwat, shirtless and wearing black trousers, behaving erratically whereas allegedly drunk. The man was holding knives in his arms and seemed to be uncontrolled in the shopping centre’s automotive park.
